Welcome to the home of the California Junior Cowboys Association!
May 5th and 6th was a wonderful weekend for the CJCA kids and families to reconnect after a winter of no junior rodeos. As in our previous years, the first rodeo of the year showcased the fantastic rodeo talent of the CJCA members. Mother nature gave us perfect rodeo weather as new friendships developed as well as old ones rekindled. Congratulations to all of our families and contestants for working hard to make a smooth, competitive and fun rodeo weekend. Everyone looks forward to June 9th and 10th! You won't want to miss it, entries will be mailed on Friday, May 11th and are due on Tuesday, May 29th.
Pro-Rodeo spectators and fans will get the fun opportunity to see our young cowboys and cowgirls in action at the annual Woodlake Lions PRCA Rodeo on May 12th and 13th. Our kids will make exibition rides and runs in the following events: mutton busting, calf riding, pole bending and goat tying. Not to mention that a couple of our own CJCA members are entered in the Pro-Rodeo barrel race during the Pro-Rodeo. If you get the chance, come out and support our kids.
